"Out of a Clear Blue Sky"

"Out of a Clear Blue Sky" was the first performance project for Year 10 GCSE Drama students. Commemorating the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, it was a mature and sensitive piece of reminiscence theatre, drawing on the actual words of eye witnesses and survivors of the events of that day. Many audience members were moved to tears by this powerfully emotive piece of drama, put together in just three weeks by the students who demonstrated an excellent awareness of the importance of the material they were dealing with. The Drama staff are tremendously proud of this achievement.
