Information for Parents
How is my child assessed and progress monitored in Geography?
We use a variety of assessment techniques to develop and improve your child’s Geographical skills as well as skills in literacy, numeracy , ICT and independent learning across the key stages.
Results from assessments are shared in student’s exercise books and diaries and parents are also informed of them at parent’s evening. In-keeping with the school’s policy the Geography department also complete the assessment data which is posted home every half term.
