Year 9

It has been an incredible year for the current Year 9 with many challenges faced and overcome. In May, along with classmates from across the country, they took their SATs examinations and we are confident that when the results are published they will show that not only have your sons and daughters continued building on the success of recent years but hopefully achieved the best SATs results that Allerton Grange have ever earned   Other highlights include :

• 25 students taking GCSE Astronomy
• Students starting the Duke of Edinburgh Award
• Planning for the future, picking their options, attending a Higher Education Fair in school and an Army Careers day at Catterick Garrison
• 10 students having their leadership potential recognised on the Common Purpose Leadership programme
• Continued success in a variety of sports, including, football, hockey, athletics
• 30 Year 9 students of all backgrounds training to be Peer Mentors for younger students at Allerton Grange
