Examination PE

For students who aspire to achieving GCSEs and/or A Levels in a PE specific area, the department also provides an increasingly academic route, which is highly subscribed to every year and creates a firm foundation for further study at University in the ever developing field of Sport. We currently offer AQA GCSE Physical Education, BTEC Dance and BTEC First Sport at Key Stage 4. Results in 2007 for the GCSE PE cohort was a 60% A*-C pass rate and a number of these students are continuing to build on their success at AS Level within the department through studying AQA Sport and Physical Education.
