The Staff

  • Mr Nigel Rochford BA, Cert Ed - Curriculum Leader for Music
  • Mr Sam Mercer BA (Hons) PGCE -Teacher of Music
  • Miss Theresa Head BA (Hons) PGCE - Teacher of Music

Sam Mercer and Theresa Head currently teach AS and A2 Music and they have selected the AQA specification as it gives an opportunity for both the classical musician and the more contemporary popular music musician to develop their skills and understanding of music at advanced level.

We have a policy of reviewing the needs of individual students and then planning teaching according to those needs. We currently teach the Popular Music options which lead on from work studied at GCSE.
