Curriculum Enhancement and Performance Opportunities
Our policy is to make the music department available to all students so that they can:
- Develop their own playing skills.
- Make music with other students
- Enjoy experimenting with music ICT
- Complete practical music homework tasks
- Prepare for end of unit keyboard tests and instrumental exams.
- Rehearse for annual music events
Students are encouraged to organise their own rehearsals and staff also run music ensembles. Rehearsals change according to the needs of the Performing Arts calendar. These include singing groups, keyboard orchestras as well as preparation, training for musicals and shows.
